I could see myself using keeping this app. Mint, for just about everything YNAB, for hands-on zero-based budgeting Goodbudget, for hands-on envelope budgeting EveryDollar, for simple zero-based budgeting Empower Personal Wealth, for. So far I love it though and it’s keeping me more organized as far as paying my bills go. I also wish there was a button for past due bills so you can keep up with all that because sometimes I am late on stuff and plus it keeps my head clear so I’m not over paying on something. I wish it would show on the interface of it and not just when you click on the category and it brings up your transactions. When you add a transaction and you have the option to write a note on it. I could see how much I owe to them or how much longer I have to pay that off. Oh like I owe $300 to someone and I give them $50. I know there is an option on there for that but instead of being one lump sum (which is nice), I’d love to have a more in-depth breakdown of it. I have random debts like paying someone back, paying my car off, etc. I wish some of it was a little more in-depth like the accounts. Clicking on the date range as far as using it in the day to day setting, I’d add an calendar to it so I can select a day for it to stay on so I don’t have to use the arrow to move 10 days ahead. I love everything about it but there is a few things I would change if I had the option to. Props to the developer for making such a user friendly app! I need help keeping track of things and so far this seems like it might be a winner. Would be cool if maybe there were color themes, I’m more of a dark doom and gloom girl myself but that’s totally okay if it works. I am not big on pinks or girlie colors but I also admit this app is super cute. Granted I haven’t used it and shall report back to update this review but so far, I’ve entered more than ever before and it actually seems like I’ll use this. Then I go about adding my bills, I’m expecting an issue any minute here but I just finished my bills and I’m moving onto subscriptions and I’m happy to report no issues yet. Get a statement straight from your app in PDF or Excel format for the date range. I am in a 3 person income household and it let me customize so I know whose is whose which is cool. Make Monese your budget calculator and budget planner with our expense. Right away the app said I had no income so I was like cool, I added my income. I thought it was cute there is a little message at the top to reach out if you have suggestions etc and I’m guessing if I reached out asking for an icon etc the developer would do it. I just went ahead and got the full app and paid the 9.99, it’s a one time fee which I admit was easier to swallow than a monthly subscription. But I decided to leave a review because I’ve gotten further along than I have with any other app and I have literally all of them. I’d like a lighter color scheme.Okay, so full disclosure I just got this. My only qualm is that I wish you could customize the color scheme. There’s more, but suffice it to say that I found the app that works for me. Love the easy comparison from one month to the next to see if I spent more than less than the previous month in a particular category. hashtags.I love the hashtags, never been easier to see how much I spent on back to school stuff, on my recent vacation, etc. Want to make a spending plan with a significant time horizon YNAB might be right for you. Makes it super easy to budget what I have left over. If you want to get a handle on your household finances, budgeting well is the key, and YNAB (You Need A Budget). Super easy the way I have it set up, on the overview page I have a section that includes all my fixed costs for the month, easy to see and easy to categorize. It’s a feature that I have sorely been missing,Knowing what bills are coming up and when is key for making sure I’ve got enough money in the bank to avoid overdraft payments. BUT, I’ve got to tell you, after taking a few days or so to get my feet wet to truly understand this app and learn how to navigate my way through it, I love it! My favorite features: – upcoming bills. Every dollar is very clean looking, PocketGuard takes some getting used to. Big fan! I’ve used mint and every dollar.
